The Well-Resourced Therapist Workshop: Ethics of Self-Care

Well-resourced therapists are equipped to hold space for the emotional demands of their clients. They make sound clinical decisions and maintain a strong therapeutic presence. When practicing relational resilience, they also experience greater fulfillment in the deep work of caring for others. They set healthy boundaries, manage stress, and approach their professional challenges with a renewed sense of energy. Yes to this!!

As helpers and healers, we recognize the risk of burnout and the conscious effort it takes to maintain vitality as a provider month after month. We also know that the term "self-care" can evoke mixed emotions, including guilt and overwhelm. For these reasons, we are inviting you to an authentic conversation to encourage shifts in your resources, practices, and rhythms of self-care.
